How to enable photos in the newsletter I receive in Hotmail and Yahoo account?

You can use search engine like Yahoo, Google or Answer for searching the key words like,

"enable Hotmail photo view",

or "can't view photo at yahoo mail"

or enable Yahoo picture view", 

As on 2010, Yahoo and Hotmail defaultly block all image to be shown to the reader, whether the image is embedded or, linking image.

 Gmail have a more forward thinking strategy , by default, all image are shown as what it should be and able to view it.

Below are some of the tips to PERMANENTLY enable the photo viewing in Yahoo Email.

If you’re seeing red Xs instead of photos or images in your messages

Sometimes, for security reasons, it’s a good idea to block images that are included with or attached to incoming email. Other times you might want to see them but can't. Yahoo! SpamGuard might be blocking your images.

To unblock images:

1. In the upper-right corner of Yahoo! Mail, from the Options menu, select Mail Options.
   
   
2. In the left pane, click Spam.
   
   
3. In the right pane, under SpamGuard, for Block Images, select either Always show images, except in Spam folder or Show images only from my contacts.
   
   
4. At the top-left of the right pane, click Save Changes.
